Few things are more synonymous with footballers these days than tattoos - body art is up there with expensive cars, hair products and Twitter in the modern player's main causes for concern.

Euro 2012, then, with some of the finest and therefore best-paid talents in Europe on display, has been a showcase for some of the best inking money can buy.

Here is a rundown of some of the best - and worst - tattoos Goal.com has spotted over the past few weeks. We will let you decide which players belong in which category...

The nightKjaer before Christmas | A Jack Skellington-esque effort from the Dane

'I've got tattoos like Agger...' | The Liverpool defender is also a qualified tattooist

P'OUCHugal! | Raul Meireles' coloured arms and neck must have been extremely painful

Pav a look at these! | The Russian striker's right arm is completely inked...

Got it covered | While defender Glen Johnson has gone for the opposite arm

A heartfelt message | Darijo Srna's tattoo is a dedication to his brother

Happy days | Wesley Sneijder's Champions League trophy tattoo reminds him of better times

Fair warning | Daniele De Rossi lets opponents know what they are in for

James Robinson, the future husband of Gloria De Piero MP, sends his Twitter followers a link to a pornographic website.

As any author will testify, writing can be a lonely business. James Robinson, the biographer of David Cameron’s cat Larry, relieves the tedium of working from home by spending some time on the internet.

Robinson, who is engaged to the glamorous shadow minister for crime prevention, Gloria de Piero, is a regular user of Twitter. On Tuesday, he posted a message to his followers on the social-networking website that was most revealing, albeit not in the way he intended.

“Blimey,” said The Guardian's former media correspondent. “Leveson inquiry cost more than £2.8m so far.” He then appended a link to a website.

However, the website had nothing to do with Lord Justice Leveson and everything to do with pornography. It was Babe Video, which features recordings from “adult” television channels.

Hopefully, De Piero, a former GMTV presenter, will be forgiving. After all, she posed for topless photographs as a 16-year-old schoolgirl. “It was simply that I needed some money to buy clothes,” she said. “My parents went a lot less mental than I thought they would.”

Nora Ephron Writer of sharp-edged romances was 71

Nora Ephron, who cast an acerbic eye on relationships, metropolitan living and aging in essays, books, plays and hit movies including "Sleepless in Seattle," "When Harry Met Sally..." and "Julie & Julia," died Tuesday in New York. She was 71. Ephron died at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she was being treated for acute myeloid leukemia and pneumonia, said her close friend and Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen. A rare author and screenwriter whose works appealed to highbrow readers and mainstream moviegoers, Ephron wrote fiction that was distinguished by characters who seemed simultaneously normal and extraordinary. Like many people, they wrestled with commitment, principles and fame, but often exhibited keen, comic insights about their predicaments.

DC Comics arrive on Nook Tablet you watch, zoom the Watchmen

When we initially did our Nook Tablet / Kindle Fire battle royal, the choice between the devices for comics fans largely came down to the preference between the Marvel and DC universes. The lines, however, are blurring. Thanks to today's announcement, Justice League fans should find as much to love in the Nook Tablet and Color as Avengers devotees. DC has brought more than 100 graphic novels to the aforementioned devices and Android tablets running the Nook app. Barnes & Noble also used the opportunity to announce the new Zoom View feature, which lets readers focus on individual panels -- functionality that sounds fairly similar to what Comixology offers in its own popular app. For more information about Crisis on Infinite Nooks, check out the press release after the break.

The moment you go closer, you can't help but wonder if these high flying celebs are stars or victims.

Celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor have the whole world under their feet...or so it may seem from far. The moment you go closer, you can't help but wonder if these high flying celebs are stars or victims!

Everything that these celebrities do or say make headlines - whether or not they like! Here is a list of stars who due to their star status have been criticised and victimised time and again.

Shahrukh Khan

From smoking in public to his alleged soft corner for Priyanka Chopra and his fights at the recent IPL season, Shahrukh Khan has been victimised time and again. While smoking in public is banned in India for one and all, it is stars like Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor (Udaipur resident had filed a complaint against the actor for smoking on the sets of his film), who are singled out because of their star status.

Shahrukh Khan gracefully handled the situation when he was accused of having a soft corner for Priyanka Chopra. However, at the recent IPL, Shahrukh Khan lost his temper when a few security personal allegedly misbehaved and pushed his children. While it is normal for any father to react the way he did, Shahrukh Khan, being the 'baadshah' of Bollywood was scrutinised and even banned on entering the Wankhede grounds for five-years by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is no less than a goddess is media's favourite child. Right from the time Ash won the Miss World contest, fans wanted more and more of the most beautiful woman in the world! The paparaazi can't seem to get enough of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Though she was always in the media's hitlist, interest in Ash's life increased ten fold when she became the Bachchan bahu. Aishwarya's career, pregnancy, post delivery weight and even her daughter Aaradhya is hot topic of discussion today.

Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan
A few months back, Saif Ali Khan was the target of media's hitlist, when he got into a brawl with an NRI named Iqbal Sharma at a leading posh restaurant in Mumbai. Iqbal accused that Saif Ali Khan, hit him and hurt him on his nose. However, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and his friends insisted that it was Iqbal who misbehaved and even made nasty comments about Kareena and their other female friends.

Salman Khan
Salman Khan too like his other famous counterparts has time and again been targeted by the media. Whether it be for his innumerable alleged affairs with his beautiful actresses or legal hassles for poaching or rash driving (causing innocent people to be killed), Salman Khan was not spared. However, the actor is a changed person today and is much less chasen by the media.

The latest celebrity health fad: getting hooked up to an intravenous line

The latest celebrity health fad: getting hooked up to an intravenous line for a dose of vitamins and minerals that can supposedly boost energy and, when needed, cure hangovers.   Speculation that pop star Rihanna was partaking of the so-called 'party girl drip' arose after she recently tweeted a picture of herself getting an unexplained IV (which other reports called a flu treatment). Simon Cowell, Cindy Crawford and Madonna also have been reported to seek IV pick-me-ups, ABC News says. And it's not just celebrities: ABC talked to a Los Angeles music executive who raved about her weekly 45-minute infusion: "Instead of feeling energized, you feel alive." Various news sources put the cost at $150 to $300 and say the drips typically contain vitamins B and C and minerals such as zinc, magnesium and chromium. And clinics and spas offering the drips have sprung up from London to Las Vegas (where you can get the treatment from a roving bus). But before you roll up your own sleeve, you should know that mainstream doctors and nutrition experts doubt you will get anything more than a little hydration and a placebo -- a treatment that makes you feel better because you think it will. If you are unlucky, you might also pick up an infection. The vitamins themselves probably are harmless -- though even that is not certain, given the ongoing scientific debate about whether it's smart for healthy people to take vitamin supplements, even the old-fashioned way (in a pill), says Miriam Pappo, chief of clinical nutrition at Montefiore Medical Center, New York. Vitamin treatments, including intravenous doses, do have legitimate uses for people with vitamin deficiencies and other conditions, she says. But the idea that vitamins, in any form, instantly boost energy "doesn't make scientific sense," she says. "I don't know why anyone would want to spend on hour doing this."
