Alan Sugar forced to remove expenses tweet

On the second day of Lord Taylor's expenses fraud trial in January, the Apprentice star and Labour peer suggested that the accused may beat the charge because he is a Conservative.

Lord Sugar commented to his 280,000 followers on the micro-blogging site: 'Lord Taylor Tory peer in court over alleged expense fiddle.
'Wonder if he'll get off as he is a Tory compared to Labour MP who was sent to jail.'
Mr Justice Saunders immediately ordered the tweet to be removed in case it prejudiced jurors involved with the case.
