Colin Farrell shocked by Ri-Ri's 'dirty texts' - Eleven UK

Ask the DustS&MColin Farrell shocked by Ri-Ri's 'dirty texts' - Eleven UK: "We imagine it takes a fair bit to shock showbiz swordsman Colin Farrell. So fair play to Rihanna who has reportedly been bombarding the Irish rogue with a series of saucy texts.

The pair met backstage at The Graham Norton Show last year where Colin wooed Ri-Ri by complimenting her on her, um... limbs.

Clearly won over by his unusual approach, the Bajan popstar has kept in regular contact and some of her raunchy messages have raised the odd bushy eyebrow.

A source told The Sun: 'Colin was taken aback by some of the texts. He reckons he might well be in there. They're both single, so why not?'

Why not indeed.

The flirty pair are rumoured to be keen to meet when their paths cross in LA later this month.

Just as long as Rihanna's not looking for anything long term from commitment-phobe Farrell, we're sure they'll be very happy together."

Firth: I'd never cheat on my wife

The King's Speech Firth: I'd never cheat on my wife: "Colin Firth has said he would never commit adultery because he is passionately in love with his wife.
The King's Speech star - who is favourite to scoop an Oscar for best actor - has been married to Italian film producer Livia since 1997 and they have two sons together.
He told Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Tonight that despite the attentions of fans, he'd never cheat on her.
'It does help to actually realise that however stunning the person who is, you know, fluttering eyelashes at you is, she doesn't do anything to match up to your wife,' he said.
'Maybe it's shallow of me to have a wife that's so beautiful, but it makes things easier. To me she's the most beautiful woman in the world.'
Colin continued: 'You know, we've made it 15 years together. I think that's pretty good going by Hollywood standards - and it's going to go on forever.'
The 50-year-old, who became a heartthrob after emerging from a lake in a dripping wet shirt as Mr Darcy in BBC drama Pride And Prejudice in 1995, said their successful marriage was down to work."

Three arrested 'in plot to blackmail Coleen Rooney over lost photos of Kai'

Rooney: My Football YearThree arrested 'in plot to blackmail Coleen Rooney over lost photos of Kai' | News: "Three people have been arrested over an alleged plot to blackmail Wayne Rooney's wife over private pictures of their 15-month-old son.

They are believed to have demanded a five-figure reward for a camera phone containing 'treasured family shots' of the couple's son Kai that Coleen Rooney lost at a Black Eyed Peas concert last May.

However they were seized by police in a sting operation after Mrs Rooney, 24, reported the phone stolen when she was unable to find it in a private box at the MEN arena in Manchester.

She and Manchester United and England footballer Wayne, 25, had been at the concert together. Venue staff were unable to find the phone despite her frantic requests.

The couple decided to report the matter to police after attempts were made to sell the pictures of the child to media outlets four months after the phone went missing.

A spokesman for British Transport Police, which is responsible for the venue, said that a 41-year-old man from Manchester was arrested on September 10 last year."

Smith 'frozen rather than angry' about porn expenses

Smith 'frozen rather than angry' about porn expenses: "Jacqui Smith has revealed she felt 'frozen rather than angry' when told her husband had entered a parliamentary expenses claim for pornographic films.

The former Labour home secretary told Radio Times she felt 'protective' towards Richard Timney, despite the episode ending her political career.

Ms Smith said she had not gone 'through the expense form closely enough'.

She also told the BBC she was 'worried' about the availability of porn on the internet and the lack of restrictions.

Ms Smith, one of the first MPs to have their expenses claims published by the Daily Telegraph in 2009, has carried out an investigation of the pornography trade for BBC Radio 5 live"

“David’s first priority is to look after his family and with Victoria pregnant he feels this might be an occasion best supported from afar.”"

Lindsay Lohan, Jail Time or 'Celebrity Rehab'? | The Stir

Lindsay Lohan, Jail Time or 'Celebrity Rehab'? | The Stir: "Lindsay Lohan is a walking time bomb. Every time we turn around, that woman is in more trouble.

(But damn, didn't she look good today at court?)

Today, Lohan had her probation revoked at the Los Angeles Superior Court for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store. She pleaded 'not guilty,' her lawyer explaining she thought the necklace was a loan. The store says Lohan straight walked out and stole it. About 15 minutes later, she posted $40,000 bail like a pro and left the premises. She's due back in court later in the month when she could face up to three years in prison for theft and jail time for violating her probation.

Can't she keep her nose clean (pun sort of intended) for a millisecond? Well, with the help of Dr. Drew Pinsky, maybe she can -- next season on one of my favorite reality shows Celebrity Rehab???"

Discussing a Mexican sports car, Hammond said vehicles reflected national characteristics so 'Mexican cars are just going to be lazy'.

The BBC did not comment but said it would respond directly to Mr Mora.

Reviewing the Mastretta on Sunday's show, Hammond said: 'Mexican cars are just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat.'

The presenters, known for their edgy jibes, then described Mexican food as 'refried sick'."

Charlie Sheen’s Bad Boy Behavior Doesn’t Deter Sitcom Fans | TheCelebrityCafe.com

Charlie Sheen’s Bad Boy Behavior Doesn’t Deter Sitcom Fans | TheCelebrityCafe.com: "Charlie Sheen has been receiving all the wrong types of press lately, his bad boy behavior sparking his venture into rehab. Amongst the rumors, Sheen has been connected to allegations including spousal abuse, drug binges, paid escorts, and trashing hotels. After Sheen’s real life began to mirror that of his on-screen character, Charlie Harper, MSNBC.com ran a poll to see “if the actor’s real-life troubles impacted their enjoyment of the show.”

To surprising results, the majority of readers weighed in to say they didn’t care what happened off-screen. One reader chimes in, “I love the show. I watch the show because it is funny. Charlie Sheen the actor is who I watch and enjoy on television. Charlie Sheen the man may need to take some time off to get his personal life together. America needs to be able to tell the difference between the two.”"

Charlie Sheen -- Like Nothing Ever Happened

Charlie Sheen -- Like Nothing Ever Happened | TMZ.com: "According to our sources, Dr. Paul Nassif -- husband of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Adrienne Maloof -- was the one who drove Charlie home from the hospital.

In typical Sheen fashion, we're told Charlie seemed totally fine on the drive home and the two talked about life and the future, along with 'fun things' as they laughed during the car ride back to Charlie's house.

And good news ...we're told Charlie's been sober since getting home from the hospital.

One day at a time."

U.S. Seeks Extradition for Former 'Survivor' Producer Charged With Killing Wife - The Hollywood Reporter

U.S. Seeks Extradition for Former 'Survivor' Producer Charged With Killing Wife - The Hollywood Reporter: "Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles have formally requested that former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman be extradited to Mexico to stand trial on an aggravated homicide charge, the Associated Press reported.

Beresford-Redman is charged in Mexico with the killing of his wife, Monica, whose body was found in April in a sewage tank at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun.
On Monday, Mexican authorities shipped more than 400 pages of investigative documents, which led to the extradition request. The documents detail the couple's tumultuous relationship, via statements from friends, family and witnesses, and also include forensic reports.
Beresford-Redman, who is also a co-creator of Pimp My Ride, has publicly said he is innocent but has not yet entered a formal plea. His attorneys have attacked Mexico's investigation and its case, saying there was evidence that would exonerate their client."

Tiger Woods involved in the sex scandal also lost key endorsements including Gatorade, AT&T, and Accenture amounting to close to $22 million.

Tiger Woods involved in the sex scandal also lost key endorsements including Gatorade, AT&T, and Accenture amounting to close to $22 million. Even those affiliated with hip-hop, music that often boasts evading the law and engaging in unlawful activities, can be hurt by their unlawful ways.
T.I. who was recently sentenced to prison again for violating his probation, lost two of his major endorsements with Axe Body Spray and Remy Martin Cognac. Even more important than losing an endorsement is losing time, which could’ve been spent on touring. For many artists, the income comes from touring. Artists can make upwards to $100,000 per show with increases depending on profit-sharing percentage. With prison time sentencing, while it might not mean a drop in album sales, can mean less time for touring and less money earned throughout the year.
While prison might mean lost income for some, other superstars are immune to any losses for album sales. Lil’ Wayne stands an example of a superstar’s popularity that couldn’t be lessened. His album, I’m Not A Human Being, released during his prison stint was a Billboard #1 album and the first album since Tupac Shukar’s Me Against the World Album to reach #1 while the artist was in jail. Lil’ Wayne has proven that a star’s faithful following will continue to support an artist even while serving a stint in jail.
Getting into trouble forces celebrities to evaluate their private lives and re-assess their priorities. As they stay in seclusion away from the spotlight, they are also losing the attention of their fans and the public as a whole. With such an influx of media at everyone’s disposal, if a celebrity doesn’t make headlines, they are easily forgotten. The cost of getting into trouble can cause a celebrity millions in endorsement or other opportunities.

Celebs in Trouble Over Unfairly “Plugging” Goods

MAARS News » Celebs in Trouble Over Unfairly “Plugging” Goods: "Celebrities under the scanner include that of Liz Hurley, Lily Allen and Peter Andre amongst others.

The “crackdown” of sorts has been ordered by the Office of Fair Trading, wherein Actors, pop stars and TV presenters who fail to mention that they have a financial interest in ‘plugging’ goods such as cars or perfumes online could be contacted by the Government’s consumer watchdog in the coming weeks and possibly face legal proceedings, the UK Daily Mail cited.

The incidents come to light after a PR Firm was allegedly found to be paying bloggers to glorify their clients last year.

Endorsements are big business in the US, but plugs must carry a notice saying that the message was paid for.

Thus, enforcement officers are ready to crack the whip and digging deep for such defaulters as they sight that it is a possible breach of the consumer protection laws laid down in the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

The first in the list of celebrities include Elizabeth Hurley who made close to ten references to Estee Lauder’s ‘divine’ skincare products while being the public face for the company for the past 17 years"

Cher’s rapid exit from Heathrow Showbiz|Bizarre

Cher’s rapid exit from Heathrow | The Sun |Showbiz|Bizarre: "WORRIED SIMON COWELL has stepped up CHER LLOYD's security after she had to be driven from Heathrow in a police riot van.
Close to 500 fans were there to greet the X Factor rapper, who has been in LA.

Cops had to step in to make sure Cher was safe.

It's incredible to think so many people turned up. That's the kind of reception pop-granny CHER got in the Eighties.

The rapper was just as surprised to be grabbed by the police, from what I've heard.

Before The X Factor, being bundled into a police car was the sign of a decent Saturday night."

Gwyneth Paltrow defends 'out of touch' lifestyle newsletter Goop

Gwyneth Paltrow defends 'out of touch' lifestyle newsletter Goop | Mail Online: "Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted she almost considered pulling the plug on her lifestyle newsletter after receiving a wave of criticism.

The actress launched Goop back in September 2008, where she dishes out advice to her readers and encourages them to 'nourish the inner aspect'.

Paltrow's endeavours, however, have been labelled pretentious and out of touch by some commentators.

In an interview with the March issue of Harper's Bazaar UK, she admitted: 'There were a couple of times when I thought 'I'm just gonna stop doing it.

'People are so mean to me. I don't want to do it.

'But then I was like, 'Who cares what some lame person out there says?' I was in Italy once, and this old man came up to me and said, 'I had the best time in Nashville because of Goop.' And that is so worth it to me.'

Each week the newsletter focuses on a subject area, split into Make, Go, Get, Do, Be, and See."

: 'Tick-box' social work criticised

The Press Association: 'Tick-box' social work criticised: "Social workers should spend less time filling in forms and more time talking to children, the head of an independent review into child protection in England has said.
Professor Eileen Munro also wants to strip Ofsted of the power to evaluate reports into the deaths of abused or neglected children.
And the regulator should scrap making pre-planned checks on children's services in favour of unannounced visits, the review found.
Prof Munro's report also stresses the importance of having a management and inspection process that monitors whether children are getting the help they need, rather than being a 'tick-box exercise'."
